Ahead of this month’s Community Conversation on Jesus Revolution, we’re organizing a trip to the movies. The film tells the story of the Jesus movement that started in Southern California in the 1970s, a movement which has influenced much of the contemporary church and is part of the heritage of communities like Haven. However, the film only represents part of the story. Join Connie and others as at the end of the month as we discuss together what the film shared, as well as what it crucially leaves out.

Folks in the Haven community who are interested in seeing the film together are invited to a showing on Saturday, March 18 at 1:30 pm at the Century Theatre in Daly City. If anyone wants a ride from the East Bay, they can contact Leah, who can take up to six other people, departing Berkeley at 12:30 pm.
