“When we open ourselves to our creativity, we open ourselves to the creator’s creativity within us and our lives.” - Julia Cameron, The Artist’s Way
Join us on March 9th for a Connection Sunday that’s all about creativity! Instead of our regular service we’ll spend our time together exploring our creativity through crafting, writing, games, and more. We’ll have fun communal activities for all ages and solo practices that will help you connect with your inner artist. If you’re convinced that you’re not creative, or are feeling creatively blocked, this Connection Sunday is especially for you. Contact Jo if you’re excited for this or have questions. This gathering time will take place in the Washington Elementary auditorium.
This gathering is a part of our Connection Sunday series, which takes place on the 2nd Sunday of each month. On these Sundays, we take a break from putting on a traditional worship gathering and focus on activities that can further connection in the community. Haven attenders are invited to take turns facilitating this time, cultivating activities that nurture belonging. These may include intergenerational crafting time, brunches together, hikes, dance parties, and more.
