This month we’re bring back the practice of inviting our community to view a film or read a book and then join in a community conversation over Zoom at the end of the month. This month, we’re inviting folks who are interested to view the new dark satire produced by Netflix, “Don’t Look Up”. This film features an all-star cast and deals with a number of themes that resonate with 2022 contemporary culture, from climate, to media, to politics. It is rated R, and may feel too dark for some, so viewer discretion is advised. For those who’d like to join the conversation, you can view the film in theaters or on Netflix by January 30th, and we’ll discuss that evening on Zoom from 7:30 - 9 pm.
Zoom information will be published to the Haven email list or can be obtained by contacting Leah Martens.
We will gather in Zoom to discuss the film on Sunday, November 14 from 7:30 - 9 pm.
Contact Jeanne Wong or check the Haven weekly newsletter for Zoom info.
