This month for our Community Conversation series, we will be viewing a film that is a 2022 Academy Award Nominee for Best Documentary, Attica. Attica details the five-day prison rebellion that transpired in the fall of 1971 in upstate New York and still stands as the largest and deadliest the country has ever witnessed. Deborah Small will be facilitating our conversation on Sunday, March 27 as we explore together this powerful film, and consider what it tells us about the criminal justice system. All are invited to view the film this month and join the discussion which will take place that Sunday evening on Zoom from 7:30 - 9 pm.
Zoom information will be published to the Haven email list or can be obtained by contacting Leah Martens.
