Folks at a nearby inclusive church (City of Refuge) have invited us to participate in this upcoming event: 

Kathy Baldock—author, LGBTQ+ advocate, and founder of Canyonwalker Connections—is a leading expert on the history of discrimination against LGBTQ+ people, especially within socially conservative Christian and political spheres.

Her book, Forging a Sacred Weapon: How the Bible Became Anti-Gay, explores the history behind how the word “homosexual” was first mistranslated into the Bible in 1946.  The documentary 1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture follows this groundbreaking research.
