After two years of virtual-only Easter Sundays, we are excited to once again celebrate Jesus' resurrection in person! Plan to join us and consider inviting friends and family to a special celebratory service, followed by a party on the yard at Washington Elementary. The morning will feature a pot-luck lunch, Egg Hunt, and live music! This year we will be joined by one of the Berkeley High Jazz combos (featuring Haven-ite Elliott Martens) as some of their players sit in with our worship team during the service, and their combo spices up our after-party with live jazz. We hope as many as possible will join us for this special day. As always, the Sunday service can also be attended via Zoom.
Our Sunday service will take place at the regular time and place: 10:30 am - 12 pm at Washington Elementary.
Afterwards, all are invited to a special Easter Celebration outdoors on the school yard from 12 - 2 pm, featuring a potluck lunch, Easter Egg Hunt, and live music from the Berkeley High jazz combo.
Egg Hunt
As part of our Easter celebration this year we will be having an Egg hunt for children ages 5th grade and younger. To help facilitate the egg hunt planning we are asking that families bring 10 to 12 pre-filled eggs per participating child to share in the egg hunt. While all Easter eggs are welcome, we encourage parents if possible to fill eggs with non-sugary items (snacks, stickers, erasers, etc.).
Potluck Lunch
The Easter party after the Sunday service will include a potluck lunch. Sign up here to let us know what dish you can contribute to the meal.
Easter Party Volunteers
Finally, if you’re up for helping put on the party, we have several roles to be filled by volunteers. You can see what they are and let us know how you’d like to help here.
