Join Luke Prince for a walking tour through the history of West Oakland. We will walk around West Oakland for about 2 to 2.5 hours. The tour covers the history of West Oakland starting with the transcontinental railroad, and discussing the first black unions, the African American migration, Black Panthers, and other pieces of history.

Wear a good pair of walking shoes and bring any snacks and water you may need. Kids are welcome to bring bikes, scooters, or other wheels. We will start and end the tour at the corner of 8th and Willow in West Oakland.
